Cellstrom was delighted to group a distinguished set of businesspeople for an interactive afternoon discussion at The House of Lords, hosted by The Lord Laird of Artigarvan.

“Making Renewables Dependable” – is not only a sunny but also hot subject to those concerned about oil burning and climate change.

Martha Schreiber, Cellstrom’s CEO, introduced the potential uses of the Vanadium Redox Flow Battery Technology for the intermittent storage of solar energy. Storage technology does open business opportunities to the potentially fragile electricity grid by storing generated electricity during low demand and releasing it at high peak times. The benefits are obvious: substancial reduction of oil burning and CO2 emissions, enhancement of the overall energy security, solar and wind energy become 100% dependable, renewable power can efficiently provide electric vehicle infrastructure, corporates and small communities.

Cellstrom likes to thank all participants of the afternoon’s event for the fruitful discussion.
